Self Defense Or Genocide? Israel-Palestine Conflict

 The ongoing war between the Israel military and the Palestanian civilians seems to be for over a month now but the actual history is of 75years old.

HOW DID THIS WAR START?

Hamas’ surprise attack on October 7 left Israel flat-footed, with a casualty of almost 1200 people.

DID IT ACTUALLY START THE WAR?WHAT IS HAMAS?WHOM DOES IT WORK FOR?

Hamas is a Palestinian group which has run Gaza since 2007. The name is an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, which means Islamic Resistance Movement. Its sole purpose is to reclaim the lost land from Israel that was never theirs in the first place. So why the attack? Why the casualties?

WHY IS PALESTINE SO IMPORTANT?WHAT IS ITS'S HISTORY?

Al-AQSA:

It is the thirst holiest site in Islam after Qaba and Masjid-e-Nabwi.

It is the second masjid that was ever created on this earth, Made only 40 years after the Qaba.

The reward for praying one prayer here is 500 times. It was the initial Qiblah for Muslims. Muslims prayed facing it for 16 to 17 months before the Qiblah was permanently changed to Qaba.

.WHO OWNS AL-AQSA?

On the night of Miraj, Allah took our beloved Prophet (PBUH) from Makkah to Masjid-Al-Aqsa on a tall white creature called Buraq.

There, He became the Imam of all the Prophets of Allah. They all prayed behind him.

Since Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last and final Imam of this masjid, it belongs to his ummah now.

To Jews Palestine was their ancestral home, but Palestinian Arabs Muslims are the rightful owners of Masjid Al Aqsa and Palestine.

HOW AND WHY WAS ISRAEL CREATED?

Between the 1920s and 1940s, the number of Jews arriving in Palestine grew, with many fleeing from persecution in Europe, especially the Nazi Holocaust in World War Two.

 International community gave the UK the task of establishing a "national home" in Palestine for Jewish people. 

On April 9, 1948, Zionist forces committed one of the most infamous massacres of the war in the village of Deir Yassin on the western outskirts of Jerusalem. More than 110 men, women and children were killed by members of the pre-Israeli-state Irgun and Stern Gang Zionist militias.

 Zionist military forces expelled at least 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands and captured 78 percent of historic Palestine. The remaining 22 percent was divided into what are now the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip. Between 1947 and 1949, Zionist military forces attacked major Palestinian cities and destroyed some 530 villages. About 15,000 Palestinians were killed in a series of mass atrocities, including dozens of massacres.

In a war in 1967, Israel occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as most of the Syrian Golan Heights, Gaza and the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula.

Most Palestinian refugees and their descendants live in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as in neighbouring Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

Neither they nor their descendants have been allowed by Israel to return to their homes - Israel says this would overwhelm the country and threaten its existence as a Jewish state.

HOW DOES IT AFFECT TODAY'S ONGOING WAR?

Israel’s gruesome war tactics clearly shows their evil motive of eradicating the civilians of Palestine from the Gaza strip. IT'S not politics IT'S not a conflict IT'S not expected AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT'S not NEW.IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 75 YEARS.

Israel is currently committing almost all the war crimes, violating the International War laws, killing thousands of civilians recklessly. Concepts like International law, human rights and equality have been created after humanity has suffered a tremendous amount of atrocities. It was created in order to create harmony in a world where there will always be asymmetrical power dynamics.

 

PURPOSE OF THIS WAR:

The main purpose of this War is to find Hamas which is apparently hiding inside Gaza Strip. If dropping Hiroshima-level explosives on Gaza hasn't 'eradicated Hamas,' then either Hamas has superpowers or they were never the real target.

WHAR IS THE SITUATION IN OTHER SIDES OF THE COUNTRY WHERE HAMAS IS NOT PRESENT?

IDF(Israel Defense Force) is now torturing civilian Palestinians in the West Bank which has zero ties to Hamas. They are stripping them naked, abusing them in vile ways then recording it and posting it. Many of them are also being killed.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF WESTERN MEDIA IN THIS GENOCIDE?

THE MEDIA is actively manipulating THE INFORMATION IN ORDER TO MAKE THE OPPRESSED SEEM LIKE THE OPPRESSOR. This is not a Palestine issue only.

This is an issue of Islam.

This is an issue of all Muslims.

WHAT IT HAS TO DO WITH ISLAMOPHOBIA?

Islamophobia is the fear of, hatred of, or prejudice against the religion of Islam or Muslims in general, especially when seen as a geopolitical force or a source of terrorism.

This war showed how Islamophobia is an actual thing on the western minds and how it can normalise wiping out of innocent lives of children, women, old.

When the white community wipes out an entire colony in the name of self defense it is not called terrorism. Surprisingly this works only for the people of Islam. 

What is self defense?

Under the right to defend itself, do they have the right to commit a genocide & countless war crimes, drop bombs equivalent to a nuclear warhead & destroy an entire region with everything on it?

SITUATION IN GAZA:

Gaza is currently being treated like a concentration camp. Cornering everyone together, with no where to go, no electricity, no water, the area is now over populated, and the air is poisonous from all the illegal white phosphorus Israel dropped on Gaza. There's dead bodies on the roads with no where to bury them because hospitals are running out of space and Ambulance vans are being bombed.

PEOPLE OF GAZA:

Innocent Civilians of Gaza are posting their last words and their goobye messages and the world is watching and letting it happen. Children write their names of their hand so that they could be recognised after they are bombed, tear to pieces.

THE SCALE OF DAMAGE:

94 government buildings,253 schools,71 mosques,3 churches have been destroyed in Gaza since the beginning of the crisis.

WHY ARE WESTERN COUNTRIES SUPPORTING THIS GENOCIDE AND FUNDING IT?

Ethnic cleansing is about land and resources. Colonizers want to extract and profit from the land, and are willing to harm the land in order to do so.

Israel is doing massive damage to the land and water and air of Gaza. And to the people, murdered and displaced.

But to the Israeli state and the United States this genocide and ethnic cleansing are worth it to seize control of the land and exploit its resources.

WHAT IS THE RESPONSE OF THE WORLD TO THIS GENOCIDE?

Worldwide rally and protests are held by not just Asians, muslims, there is every community present even jews.

These really shows that people stand for palestine whereas the government and media stands for the powerful.

WHY SPEAK UP?

Because genocide is not just about a population, it's an attack against humanity in itself.

The world's biggest tragedies are made by the hands of powerful people, but powerful people oppress through the silence of ordinary people.

When atrocities like genocide are allowed to happen, we render these moral codes obsolete. We give our consent to create a world where injustice is normalised.

And if it is allowed to happen to someone else, it will be aloud to happen to you too, the moment power dynamics change.

And they always change.
